My best friend Ryan Mo with his Grandpa Buddy. This was shot during the week I spent in Texas. Mo is leaving for basic training in less than a week. I couldn’t be prouder of my friend.

Another of the same thing, a few seconds later, different angle. Love that light.
I have an opening tonight at Mason Murer Gallery here in Atlanta. If you’re in the area, it’d be great for you to come out. I have six pieces in the show, but I’m one of many artists. The part of the show I’m participating in is called Fresh Blood.

I am extremely pleased with the images I shot in Texas during the break, to say the least. It’s been one of my most fruitful photographic “trips” ever. I finally developed all 14 or so B&W rolls this past weekend, but these color images were the first I saw. I only shot a single roll of color, as I waited for my B&W film to arrive from B&H, and it’s times like these that I almost question why I shoot B&W at times.
This is my brother, Ryan, and he’s sitting in the boys’ locker room where we both went to junior high. He’s now in training to be a coach, after graduating college this past December. Maybe I love this image because it’s my brother, but I can’t help but think it’s just good.
The kids call him “Coach Pick”
