Monolilth

Monolith

This is some kind of government building in downtown Atlanta, just a few blocks from the state Capitol building. I’ve seen it several times from Interstate 20 when it’s lit up all bright at night. So I went over there one night and waited for 30 minutes for the light to come on. Never did. I’ll go back.

I watched Memoirs of a Geisha last night with my wife. Actually, she watched it, I just saw it… I couldn’t tell you the plot to save my life. But I did see one thing: this movie is breathtaking. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such a beautiful film in my life. We rented it from this $1-a-day DVD dispenser machines at Kroger, but I actually think I’d like to buy it. If you haven’t seen it, you should, if only for the visuals. Maybe now I’ll actually have to watch it.

Great shot…love the dark mood of it. The building looks as if it has just risen out of the ground. Phil

Deffinatly a nice subject and worth going back when there is a bit more light on it, it got a great structure. The left top of the building is a bit dark now.
