One of my last “saying goodbye to Texas friends” photos. There’s actually one more after this. Robert and I went to this semi-fast food Chinese place near Stacy’s office for our last lunch out together. I’ll have to remember to have a going away party next time we make a major move, because meeting up with friends one by one is a tough thing to schedule.

I heard from an old friend from undergrad name Adran day before yesterday. Totally out of the blue, he called me asking about grad school… specifically if I’d ever gotten into UT. I told him of my troubles with that program (not troubles, just difficulties with the incredibly small size of it, even though it’s one of the largest colleges in the country) and that I was in Atlanta because I’d gotten into SCAD-Atlanta. He had no idea, and it was good to talk about that kinda’ stuff with someone who hadn’t already heard the story. Heck, it’s nice to talk to anyone from the ol’ photography program at Texas State.
