It covers everything in the South. I think it’s beautiful.

Another one with Polaroid 59. It turns out I wasn’t allowed to be as creative with the ID photo as I was told. I don’t like this one as much, but it’ll have to do, because I’m out of film.

The famous Polly Wally Poodle Pants.
And a glimmer of hope for the continued production of baryta base papers! THANK YOU ILFORD!

One of my last “saying goodbye to Texas friends” photos. There’s actually one more after this. Robert and I went to this semi-fast food Chinese place near Stacy’s office for our last lunch out together. I’ll have to remember to have a going away party next time we make a major move, because meeting up with friends one by one is a tough thing to schedule.
I heard from an old friend from undergrad name Adran day before yesterday. Totally out of the blue, he called me asking about grad school… specifically if I’d ever gotten into UT. I told him of my troubles with that program (not troubles, just difficulties with the incredibly small size of it, even though it’s one of the largest colleges in the country) and that I was in Atlanta because I’d gotten into SCAD-Atlanta. He had no idea, and it was good to talk about that kinda’ stuff with someone who hadn’t already heard the story. Heck, it’s nice to talk to anyone from the ol’ photography program at Texas State.

The image I’m submitting for my student ID at SCAD.

This was taken my next to last day at work in Georgetown, and Cari did her hair all special like for the picture. It’s the last of the Best Buy pictures, and the posting marks the day of my new store’s grand opening.

Another former co-worker and friend, GW. That’s his actual name. It doesn’t stand for anything. I like to say his name in my best ‘Will Ferrell doing an impression of Harry Caray’ voice.

Russell in the warehouse. He runs it.

Former co-worker and friend, Omar, in the warehouse. Omar is awesome. One of the many people I miss from Texas.

Man, I love that building. Just an incredibly cool place. I can’t say I won’t miss it, but not nearly as much as all the people in Austin.

Mo checking to make sure the elaborate packing job hadn’t collapsed.
