I went down to Red Bud Isle to continue work on my Town Lake series in a new location a few days ago only to find it was a bit dark for my Tri-X 400 film in the Holga just before sunset. Still, it was a gorgeous bit of land that I’ll be sure to return to. Polly suggested I just shoot 3200 speed film for occasions like that.

Stacy and I will be leaving town tonight for Midlothian. We’ll be leaving the dogs there with her parents, and then heading to the Denver area (Pine, specifically) for over a week to spend with her aunt and uncle and just to enjoy the non-Texas landscape. I’ve tried to commit to shooting portraits during this trip, but that’ll be hard to keep.

I’ve loaded up the site with an image for each weekday, so hopefully I’ll have enough access to hop on and publish them each day. If I miss a day, make sure to check back the previous day because I’ll publish a few at a time.
