Thanks for your comments, but that's actually something from development. (And it was scanned at 600 dpi, for the record.)

yes, i see the grid like lines from the scanner...that's a shame, maybe time for an upgrade! ;) have you tried scanning at a much high res? Sometimes that helps for me, sometimes it doesn't..my scanner isn't the best. I love this series. And again, i'm just so happy that someone else is getting just as much use from their 4x5 as me.

Thanks, Miles. It really did put me on edge to have the camera hanging over the railing. If two of the tripod legs had lost traction, it would've gone tumbling down. I actually had the third leg extended, so the stable legs could stand completely vertical. I really take too many risks with this camera sometimes.=)

I love how clean your shots are from this camera. I've become so used to seeing view camera work on polaroid type films, or with the offset lens plane to create some crazy DoF, it's easy to forget how sweet the image can be. Having said that I've chosen this one to comment on out of this set (and to make my image of the day), just because I'm loving the tones and thinking how much more effort it would take to get the camera in this position than an SLR type would!
