Piano

I took a drive down Hwy. 71 outside of Austin, past the airport. I didn’t really know what I wanted to shoot at first, but things like this quickly appeared. So as you’ll see, I didn’t spend the weekend in Westlake Hills again. This was shot with Polaroid 79.

Thanks. I just saw this on a different monitor and realized the abundance of magenta. I’ll fix it later on today.

This is strong. Like the old piano as the focal point here…nice.

Never mind — I see which film…. I have to stop looking at these … there’ll be no reason for me to use my camera again — really, really, really nice work….

Wow, I’m a sucker for shooting abandoned objects. But a piano … what a find. I’d be in heaven.

Well it was quite a find, I must say. I was leaving the area, done shooting for the day and ready to get back to the house. And as I rounded this corner, I saw the house and recognized the back of the piano. Needless to say, I ran back and forth between the house and car to get the camera set up before I lost the light.
