At Marching Practice

This was one day a few weeks ago out at Cedar Park High School. I had a notion awhile back to continue my Musician series in another direction… it’s not a dead idea just yet. But on this particular afternoon, I found the trees rather interesting as I watched them practice Holst’s “The Planets”. (They sounded amazing, btw.)
UPDATE: I’ve since learned that they placed 2nd at 5A State Marching Contest. Told you they sounded amazing!

What a beautiful shot. There are many autumn afternoons and evenings when something in the air takes me back to my old marching band days. You just happened to capture the feeling on film. Wonderful job!

I spent four incredible years of my life on this very field, pouring emotion into every performance. This is a wonderful reminder of the amazing friends and memories that I could never forget.

That is a great picture. I too was in the band program for 4 great years. 99-03. This shot really put it into a perspective that I’d nearly forgotten. Thank you.
