Garden Center Flamingos

Flamingos at the Garden Center

The famous flamingos at the garden center at Loop 360 and FM 2222 in Austin, TX. This image wasn’t cross processed, just made to look that way in Photoshop by slight curve adjustment. I also took some slides with my Canon Elan 7E body (same 28-135mm lens is much wider at 28mm because it lacks the 1.6x magnification factor of the Digital Rebel) and got much more pleasant results. The wider angle really helped the slide shots. Now I just wish I had had the slides scanned before mounting.

Yes, I love the way you utilize the dynamic lighting along the y-axis while maintaining a consistent color palette amongst the other ones.

Or something like that…cool picture man.

Thank goodness photography (or rather analyzing it) isn’t that complex… at least in my opinion it shouldn’t be. =)
